Pastor Les Somers is a “local boy” born and raised on the Miramichi.  In the fall of 2018, he was called to return to pastor his “home church” for the second time. ​

Rev. Dr. Les Somers has earned degrees from Columbia International University and Liberty University, both in the United States of America.  His Doctor of Ministry degree was granted from Acadia University located in the province of Nova Scotia, Canada.  Dr. Les Somers, as a seminar speaker, has been welcomed into several countries of Africa, Asia, Europe and South America, as well as the United States and Canada.  His primary ministry, however, has been as pastor of local churches in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Alberta.  Pastor Les is devoted to Jesus Christ, the One Who has been his Lord and Leader since early childhood.  His greatest joy is to equip others to serve God with passion and skill.  It is also evident to many that he has been given a gift of preaching and teaching the Scriptures, with practical insight.
