Baptism
Baptism is an incredibly important moment in every Believer’s faith journey. It is the public declaration of a person’s commitment to Jesus Christ. At River Church, we invite all new Believers to be baptized. When we are immersed into the water during baptism, we identify ourselves with Jesus in his death and burial. When we are raised up out of the water, we identify ourselves with the Resurrection of Jesus and the hope of eternal life. Baptism also gives the rest of us an opportunity to celebrate with you!
Serve with us
Ministry has no age limit. Join a team of volunteers who serve within the children’s ministry of River Church. Our volunteer teams use their gifts and talents to make it possible to reach children within with the life-giving message of Jesus Christ each week. As this ministry continues to grow, we need more volunteers. Serve on Sunday mornings or Thursday nights. Help us as we invest into our community. Our children need you. Church Membership
Membership at River Church gives you the opportunity to serve in leadership in a greater way and gives you a vote in major decisions we make about the church.
Missions
Be a part of what God is doing in the world. River Church partners with several missionaries and organizations who share the gospel locally and globally. We also participate in a “faith Promise” trusting God for finances to enable and support these ministers. Partner with us.
Prayer
Prayer is vital for the growth of a Christian. These conversations with God nurture the faith that we have in our Creator God. There is great comfort when you know that people are praying for you. Join us as we pray for each other.
