This special day is all about coming together as a church family to reconnect, celebrate, and kick off a new season of ministry. It’s the perfect time to invite old friends, bring your family, and make new memories with your church community.

We’ll start the day with an inspiring worship service, followed by fun activities and adelicious outdoor BBQ to enjoy with everyone! There will be plenty of food, games, and fellowship to make this day extra special. Join us for a powerful River Connect study of Anxious for Nothing by Max Lucado! Over the course of this study, we’ll explore how to find peace in the midst of anxiety and stress by focusing on the promises of God.

In Anxious for Nothing, Lucado offers a biblical roadmap to overcoming worry and fear, teaching us how to embrace God’s peace that surpasses all understanding. This study will encourage you to replace anxiety with prayer, trust, and gratitude, creating space for God's calm and reassurance in your life.

This Missions Month at River Church, we’re diving deep into the heart of God’s global mission! Throughout the month of October, we’ll be focusing on the incredible work being done around the world to spread the love and message of Jesus. It’s a time to reflect on our role in God’s mission, both locally and globally, and be inspired to make a difference in the lives of others.

We’ll also highlight different missions organizations and initiatives that River Church is supporting, and how you can be a part of God’s work in the world

Join us this Remembrance Day as we pause to honour and remember the sacrifices made by those who served. This special service will reflect on the courage, dedication, and selflessness of those who have given their lives for our freedom. We will take time to pray for peace, remember the fallen, and express our gratitude for their sacrifices.

It’s a meaningful opportunity to come together as a church family to honor the heroes who have shaped our history and continue to inspire us.
